PTT changes new IT system

The new policy to establish sharing resources over a dozen companies under PTT Chemical for save money and also increase more potential. PTT Chemical invests 200 million bath to establish a plant information organize system. The company gets Intergraph Smart Plant Enterprise for Owner Operators and the Smart Plant committee of solution to mix up data. This project will be affected 18 months with supporting from Neon Infotech

In my opinion, It is a good project to build a sharing resources center because it will save cost and also better benefit. Now days global warming caused from many things. I think this project will be solve some of them.

Five more Imax Theater

Imax Crop has a plan that is builds more theater in Asia to about 140 within 2012. Don Savant, Imax's senior vice president and managing director in Asia Pacific, said Asia is the fastest growing company's market. He plans to build more 70 new theater by 2012. In this plan the company signs a deal with Major Cineplex Group, worth 5 million US dollar, to build another five more Imax digital theaters in Thailand. Vicha Poolvaraluck, chairman of Major Cineplex Group, said the company will invest more than 300 million bath to build another five theaters in next three years too. The budget includes 5 million US dollar to buy theater systems. Major Ratchayothin and Esplanade Ngam Wong Wan is the first two Imax digital theater that will be started services by the end of this year. Another two will be started service at new location in Bangkok and side-country.

In my opinion, It is quite good to have more 3D theaters in Thailand because at present it doesn't have a lot of 3D theater. This will be starting of 3D experience. The 3D theaters are good theaters. It can make people enjoy more than normal theater.

Thai filmmaker win award at South Korea's Asia Art Award

Filmmaker, Apichatpong Weerasetakul, won a top prize at South Korea's Asia Art Award with his 2009 short film "Phantoms of Nabua". He received a prize, the award and 20 million won (about 576,000 bath) at a ceremony at Seoul Olympic Museum of Art. Prof Apinan Poshyananda, deputy permanent secretary of Thai Culture Minisry, said "A Thai filmmaker winning the award proves that the film industry and contemporary art in Thailand are of a high standard in the Asian context". The film is made in Nakhon Phanom, the village of Nabua, which locates near Thai-Laos frontier. The aiming of this award arm encourage and promote young artist up to 40 years old. He wins this award because he tells history in an easy way to understand.

In my opinion, I think it is another pride of Thai people that there are still have Thai people won award from the international stages. it is an example for young filmmaker who want to be successful artists.

Thailand ready to talk with China about rail link

Thailand and China would like to talk about co-investment in Thailand's new standard-gauge rail link and high-speed train project in this month. Mr Korbsak Sabhavasu, secretary of Prime Minister, set up two committees to analyze the projects on 5/08/2010. The high-speed rail line from Suvarnabhumi airport to Rayong on the Eastern Coast through Pattaya and Laem Chabang. Laos and Nong Khai in Thailand's northeast to connect with Malaysia and Sigapore. A new standard-gauge rail line is estimate to cost 300 billion baht. The high-speed rail project linking is estimate to cost 30 billion bath. Mr Korbsak Sabhavasu said two committees were required to achieve thier study in two weeks. The new rail line will benefit travel in region as the trains network. It lies on China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Sigapore. The new train will run at 200 kilometers an hour and 1,000-kilometers old rail lines in Thailand must be developed. It will take 3 years to build with investment fund, 170 billion bath. Although Signing deal with China will success or not, this development must be done.

In my opinion, it is a good chance to develop Thailand rail lines because train is the most important transportation in Thailand and we have trains for long times ago without developing

Thai Tiger Airways

Thai Airways International president, Piyasvasti Amranand, have a conference with Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij, Newin Chidchob, Transport Minister Sohpon Zarum and Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban at his office on 2 August 2010 about Thai Tiger Always. Transport Minister has indicated dismay about the THAI president's haste to establish a new airline because he has only two days before the day of decision to establish new airline. He said, "It has not enough time to consider about this project". Mr. Sohpon needs an explantion from Mr. Piyasvasti because if this project has something wrong Transport Minister has to take responsibility.

This article I think is not necessary to haste to establish they need times to consider this project a lot for the new, correct and good airline.

Thai student bag 4 golds

Thai student have showed potential again in the 13th Po Leung Kuk primary Mathematics World contest in Hong Kong. this competition include team from 13 countries. The first team, including 4 members, are Sujesada Udomsrirungrueng from Rajavinit School, Thanpitcha Ketchaimongkol from Suteetorn School, Sirapob Jitmeesil from Prasarnmit Demonstration School and Wirat Singha from Anuban Nakhon Rachasima School. They win 4 golds in 4 days contest. The competition have had since 1997 for student aged under 13 from many countries. Last year this event has cancelled because of H1N1 flu. The second team ,getting 4 medals, consolation prize, are Patara Kitipongpat, Annop Tantayanon, Nantathanat madod and Theera Chaitaweechoke, all of them are from Suteetorn School.
It is a good news that Thai student win this event which mean Thai student are in top level now. but they have to continues learning and gaining more experiece for their future.
