Thailand has decided to help develop a stronger economy as well as support equal society and friendly environment within 2020. It is a part of the Smart Thailand concept. Ministry of Information and Communication Technology said ICT is the way to strengthen the economy and solve the social gap problem by increasing the amount of smart people, the public's knowleage and the availability of high-speed internet. There are 7 strategies of delopment to start this vision. First starting to build a next generation basical structure to allow equal access to high-speed internet, with a goal to achieve 80 percent of population by 2015, 3.4 percent more than today. Next building more highly skilled professtional and new skill potential. The third is to build the ICT industry to become more competitive. Then the use of domestic products will be encourage. Furthermore providing intelligent and mixed service. Moreover e-Government services are not good, widely used and accessible to people. Finally Free trade and freedom investment showed a chance to gain new talented people.
In my opinion, It is good strategies to develop the country. The equal society is also one of the biggest problem too. If this plans is work. It will be a good thing because nowdays there are lots of problem in Thailand. I hope this plans will be achieve once day.
